I understand what you mean. I tried to think another way but I want my two maps to be able to offer the same functions (zooms, pans, select,, insert points). As they aren't the same size, it at least requires to recalculate pixels to use pixeltoproj for the "snapshoted" map and I'm afraid to discover other problems. Let me know if you don't think so.
