New Post: MouseDown error message

I have developed an application for a big environmental organisation using map window as a GIS component into a Microsoft Access 2007 database. The application is now being tested on a Sandbox server.

The application works fine on my laptop but there seems to be problems with the ocx file on the server.

First I had to register the ocx by installing the full version of MapWinGIS to get the ocx properly recognised by the application.

But then, although the map application works and builds thematic maps as instructed, it seems that the MapMain.SendMouseDown events are not recognised.

Basically, when I try to zoom in or out with the mouse, an error message appears stating: 'the expression MouseDown you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: there was an error loading an ActiveX control on one of your forms or reports'

It is a bit strange as the map application works as long as the mouse is not used. As soon as I try to use the mouse to zoom or pan, an error message appears.

Do you know what the problem may be and how I could solve it?
Many thanks
Marc
