It seeems that the changes in the reference to library causes a crash.
Not using libecw but the NCSecw causes ecw images to not be loaded and raises an unknown raster function esception.
Comments: The loading of these formats depends on GDAL plugins (usually located in \gdalplugins folder along with MapWinGIS installation). The latest MapWinGIS installer allows to choose installation type, i.e. either install or not install them. So the first thing to do is to check if they are installed. The other thing is GlobalSettings.GdalPluginPath property which should point to this folder (it should point to the correct folder automatically, but still worth checking). As for your problem, it's not clear if the formats are loaded in MWLite for you. Also if they aren't loaded in your app, perhaps GlobalSettings.ApplicationCallback reports something. I've tested the formats with my current dev MapWinGIS version - I can load MrSID, but can't load ECW, although the plugin seems to be loaded correctly. I'll investigate it further when I have time.
