New Post: Different Symbols for Shape-Attributes

Hello everybody,

I'm sorry I didn't find a Handy title for my thread.

The situation is thus that I need to display point-shapefiles where certain attributes should be represented by different symbols in the map. I work on an access-vba application using the ocx 4.8.

My questions:

1. how do I declare the symbol and size to use for a shapefile?
   2 how do I declare different symbols for one shapefile, depending on a certain shape-attribute?
   

Has anybody some (vba) code examples?
