New Post: MapWinGis 4.9.3.1 Load from gpx file

I've just checked and .gpx files can be opened by our demo app which is shipped with the new MapWinGIS installer. You can use the app to check other formats you have doubts about. For all vector formats other than shapefiles MapWinGIS uses OgrLayer class (a wrapper for GDAL / OGR drivers). This functionality is new in version 4.9.3. Also a quick way to open certain file is AxMap.AddLayerFromFilename. Afterwards datasource can be accessed via AxMap.get_OgrLayer(layerHandle), actual data can be accessed using OgrLayer.GetBuffer().
