Why not add layer to map? It will raise exception ! in verion 4.9.3!

We haven't released 4.9.3 version yet (only preparing a Beta release), so I assume that you have built the source by yourself. If your problem persists with the current trunk version I need more info on this. What type of layer are you adding? Thanks.
