a) Project configurations added: Release (still /MD rather than /MDd as one would expect, but optimization is on) and VLD (for Visual Leak Detector tool; also in /MD mode).
b) Some memory leaks are cleaned, but yet more to come.
c) Some tweaks of new API naming as we prepare v4.9.3 Beta.
